Shocking discrimination at this place, Instead of welcoming keen volunteers who want to support young people in bridgend they are blatently discriminating against people. Yes I accept that they are a christian youth group however I don't feel that they should be turning away people because of there religious beliefs as it happens I am a christian but don't attend a church as I work with elderly people who need my attention on a full time basis but because I do not attend a local church I have been denied this opportunity. This I think is wrong are these people in the sector for the young poeple or to push there belifes down peoples throats. Youth work should NOT be used as a recruitment ground for religious sectors young people need to make their own choices about life under guidence and top do this you need people from all walks of life. Besides if you are prepared to discriminate against people in this way you can hardly call yourself christian can you, as we are meant to respect eachother regardless of creed. I truly am disappointed that these people are calling themselves christian people should take a good look at themselves and be hounest to who they are.
